Description
Responsibilities:
" Develop, document and adhere to a clear Project Management Plan
" Effectively administer projects through appropriate deployment and use of human, financial, material, intellectual and tangible resources to ensure delivery of business benefits of the areas of expertise.
" Develop a detailed scope and be able to subdivide the project work into smaller more manageable components.
" Define, sequence, estimate resources and activity duration in order to develop a baseline schedule. Monitors status and manages any changes to the schedule baseline.
" Manages total project costs.
" Identify project quality requirements / standards and documents / adheres to audit quality compliance processes to recommend necessary changes.
" Guide, inspire and motivate team members and other project stakeholders.
" Effectively manage expectations by communicating / addressing issues as they occur, and exchanging accurate, appropriate and relevant information using suitable methods.
" Identify / anticipate risks, perform risk analysis, plan risk responses, and monitor and controls risks for the project.
" Obtain timely input before making decisions. Confirm understanding before drawing conclusions.
" Assess the project environment data and establish or implement an appropriate project management governance framework.
" Liaison to Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) for IT Project Investment Justification (PIJ) processes.

Desired Skills:
1. Solid technical (infrastructure) project management experience.
2. PMI practitioner.
3. Excellent communicator - verbal and written.
4. Capable of manage multiple projects:
" General knowledge of Server & Storage, AD/DC, PC/Desktop.
" General knowledge of WAN, LAN and WLAN.
" Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues.
" Ability to quickly pickup and learn new technologies.
" Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
" Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
" Must have strong customer services experience.

Experience/Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree is required.
" Master's degree is desirable.
" Must have at least 5 years IT experience and 3 years IT Project Management.
" Experience in virtual working environment.
" PMI PMP certification.
