Description
The duties of the SQL DBA or Information Technology Analyst/Programmer III position are:
" Lead support for all SQL databases maintained by Police
" Create, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve issues with various SSIS packages
" Manage, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with various SQL jobs
" Setup data exchange interfaces with various external agencies and internal departments
" Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and performance tuning of SQL/TSQL routines
" Knowledge of SFTP, PowerShell scripting, SharePoint, command shell batch scripting
" Data conversion
" Create and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers
" Maintain and manage data spread out over multiple databases on multiple Servers

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
" 5 years of experience with managing and administrating MS SQL Server (2012, 2008)
" Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, information technology or related field
" Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills
" Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce concise written documentation and presentations
" Advanced proficiency with MS Word, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Project/PWA and Visio
" Experience working with SSIS and Visual Studio

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
" Experience in the public sector and public safety is a plus
" Other certifications and skills such as Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Agile and Waterfall are a plus.
" Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
